Media Invitation: World Energy Outlook 2018
VERBUND and the International Energy Agency (IEA) are organising the launch of the World Energy Outlook (WEO) 2018 on 14th November in Vienna.
Global thought leaders from the United States of America, Asia and Europa will discuss the latest findings of the World Energy Outlook and the future challenges and opportunities that are arising for our energy system. The particular focus this year will be on electricity: "Electrification - making it happen".
HE Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Co-chair of the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens and former Secretary-General of the United Nations, will give a keynote on the Perspectives on the Energy Future and Global Developments.
This high-level event is the first official public event on the World Energy Outlook 2018 following the launch to the international press on 13th November.
