Energie Austria right on target

Exactly according to schedule VERBUND has taken a further important step towards the realisation of Energie Austria.

In the Supervisory Boards of VERBUND subsidiaries Ennskraftwerke AG, Steiermärkische Elektrizitäts-AG (STEG), VERBUND-Austrian Hydro Power AG and VERBUND-Austrian Power Grid AG the reorganisation resolutions required for bringing in Energie Austria were passed unanimously.

Energie Austria is thus right on target, which means that from an operative point of view, the launch of by far the largest power company in European format in Austria scheduled for late September will be able to take place.
