Energie AG OÖ and VERBUND Sign Power Supply Agreement Until 2004

Energie AG Oberösterreich and the VERBUND wholesaling company APT Power Trading GmbH have signed a new power supply agreement for the period after October 1 today. The volume of this supply agreement is approx. 1,500 GWh per year.

The supply agreement covers the period until the end of 2004 initially; then it may be extended. Both companies agree that "the new supply agreement is an important step towards securing the business relations between VERBUND and Energie AG OÖ in the long term".

The wholesaling company of VERBUND scored with an attractive, market-conforming offer. For Energie AG Oberösterreich this means continuing to have a domestic company as one of its major in-suppliers.
