VERBUND-Austrian Power Sales: Energy Price Adjustment

These days, VERBUND-Austrian Power Sales GmbH (APS) has been notifying its customers of the pending increase in price for electrical energy as of 1 September 2007 by 0.6 eurocents/kWh. The current market situation has forced APS to adjust its prices accordingly. Nonetheless, even with the newly fixed prices, APS continues to occupy the lower end of the market price scale with its attractive price offer remaining virtually unchallenged.

VERBUND-Austrian Power Sales GmbH started with the direct sales of electricity on 1 July 2005. In addition to more than 100,000 private and business customers, VERBUND-Austrian Power Sales GmbH has also been supplying the domestic industry with hydropower from own production since 1 July 2006.
