Gars Power Plant: Information for the Citizens at the Onset of Construction

At the second round of civic information, Project Manager Franz Mandl and a construction company representative presented the further construction development and traffic route concept to local residents.

Optimised traffic routes
The road traffic will be guided through the Innwerk residential area via a one-way system with a constant 30 km/h speed limit. Return journeys and transportation will be undertaken on a new paved access road.

Putting the focus on dialogue
"Citizens will regularly be informed about the construction progress by means of information sheets, information events and individual talks," said Project Manager Franz Mandl. In the coming weeks, a visitor’s platform will be erected on the construction site and a citizens’ hotline offered.
