The completely overhauled rotor for Turbine 1 of the VERBUND power plant at Wallsee-Mitterkirchen is journeying home. The 218 tonne rotor was completely overhauled at the Aschach power plant on the Danube. The work is complete, and now after just 7 weeks, the rotor is being returned by ship to its regular site of operation.
