VERBUND all-in-one heat pump solution

More than half of Austria's final energy consumption is used to generate heat. In total, 35 per cent of the approximately four million main residences in Austria are still heated directly with fossil fuels such as natural gas or oil. Sustainability, costs and independence from fossil fuel imports are the main reasons in favour of switching to a sustainable heating solution.

Heat pumps are very cost and energy efficient due to their high efficiency, as they produce two thirds more heat energy than they require electrical energy. As heat pumps do not consume fossil fuels, they reduce CO2 emissions and help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They utilise renewable energy sources and are therefore an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels such as oil or gas. Additional heat pump subsidies are available for the purchase costs in most federal states.

Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien, in cooperation with VERBUND, offers an uncomplicated solution for interim financing to people who were able to secure a federal subsidy from the ‘Raus aus Öl und Gas’ campaign in 2024.  For those who want to take advantage of ‘Clean Heating for All 2025’, there is also the option of financing in the amount of the subsidy.

The VERBUND all-in-one solution

In co-operation with selected and qualified installation partners, VERBUND offers a complete solution with high-quality Viessmann heat pumps. After an initial discussion, VERBUND provides an initial price indication, and the installation partners then take over all further services, from the on-site inspection appointment to the preparation of the quotation and the installation of the heat pump and subsidy processing.

Bonus of € 500 for the ‘Customers recruit customers’ campaign

From now until Easter, VERBUND, in cooperation with its partners, is also offering a special bonus to all those customers who refer another completed installation. As soon as the referred customer has completed the successful project implementation, an amount of €500 will be paid out to the referring customer. In this way, VERBUND incentivises the switch to a green and sustainable heating solution and also uses the recommendation potential of the population.

Green heat pumps with innovative technologies from Viessmann

• The VERBUND complete solution includes heat pumps from Viessmann. With the new Vitocal 250-A and Vitocal 252-A air/water heat pumps, heating modernisation is also easily possible in older houses.
• These high-quality heat pumps are also environmentally friendly and use the natural CFC-free refrigerant R290. Thanks to this refrigerant, the new heat pumps also achieve high flow temperatures of up to 70 degrees Celsius for hot water preparation, even when it is minus 15 degrees outside. These heat pumps can be used to modernise not only houses with underfloor heating, but generally also existing systems with radiators to CO2-free heating.
• Thanks to Advanced Acoustic Design+ (AAD+), Viessmann heat pumps are among the quietest of their kind; the fan is sound-optimised. In conjunction with intelligent speed control, it ensures a significant reduction in airborne noise in full and partial load operation. This means that the outdoor unit can also be installed in areas with dense building development without any problems.
• If the 10-year carefree maintenance and warranty extension package is taken out with Viessmann, the fees for the first year are waived in the VERBUND complete solution.

Interim financing for federal funding with Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien

The purchase costs for a heat pump are usually higher than for conventional heating systems, but specific subsidies on the total investment can significantly reduce the actual costs. ‘In order to bridge the waiting period until the subsidy is paid out, we offer an unbureaucratic interim financing solution with attractive conditions in cooperation with VERBUND,’ says Christiane Flehberger, Head of ’Raiffeisen Wien.
