Sustainability reporting at VERBUND
We are committed to transparency and sustainability and publish the results of our measures annually in the Integrated Annual Report in accordance with ESRS standards.
As early as 1994, we were one of the first companies in Austria to prepare an environmental report and anticipated the trend towards the presentation of environmentally relevant factors. This publication was followed in 2002 by the first VERBUND Sustainability Report, which we published annually as a supplement to the Annual Report. The last report within the VERBUND Sustainability Reporting programme was the VERBUND Sustainability Report 2014, which was published in April 2015.
In order to meet the growing demand for comprehensive corporate information, we have since incorporated our sustainability reporting into the VERBUND Integrated Annual Report. From financial year 2020, we will also be offering a largely accessible version of our German-language Integrated Annual Report in order to make our information more widely accessible.

VERBUND has been living the concept of sustainability for many years. Environmental protection, resource conservation and social responsibility are the main objectives of sustainable development at VERBUND.
