Configure photovoltaics yourself!
Use the power of the sun – now even better. Austria’s leading energy company, VERBUND, has expanded its complete range of photovoltaics and now offers rental or purchase variants, various system sizes and optional additional components such as battery storage and e-car charging stations, all as required.
In order to advance the energy transition, VERBUND has significantly expanded the range of photovoltaic solutions for private households and made them even more flexible. Thanks to an innovative online property suitability check and order placement system, customers can now configure their complete photovoltaic package themselves and choose between rental and purchase as well as between two system sizes:
- Rent or buy: carefree rental for 6 or 12 years, or immediate purchase.
- System size: choose between a 3.9 kWp and a 5.85 kWp system.
- Battery storage: store the solar electricity you produce with a battery storage array.
- E-car charging station: add an e-car charging station if required.
What has remained the same is the reliable processing of the planning, checking whether the system can be installed, assembly of the system through to initial operation, as well as the usual, modern system technology and PV components from Austrian manufacturers. When renting the system, VERBUND takes care of the maintenance; a VERBUND warranty and insurance cover are included. The offer comprises three parts, which are concluded together: the rental contract for the photovoltaic system, the 100% solar electricity VERBUND electricity supply contract, and the VERBUND feed-in contract, which pays for the excess electricity produced by the system.
Whether a house is suitable can be easily determined through the online check. This primarily looks at the circumstances concerning ownership and key data about the house, such as year built, height or roof covering.
