Start of the autumn campaign: VERBUND supplies Austria “Through our own power”
The new “Through our own power” (Aus eigener Kraft) advertising line launched in March by the leading national energy company VERBUND is being further developed with the autumn campaign starting today and charged with epic images.
The VERBUND autumn campaign will be launched across Austria on 2 October and remains true to the slogan established six months ago: We have everything we need to achieve the energy transition. And we’ll do so together by working with the power of nature, not against it.

The new campaign summarises VERBUND’s performance in a nutshell. Filming and photography took place at around 2,000 metres above sea level at the VERBUND power plant group Kaprun with the sun in the lead role. The resulting images support the integrated campaign consisting of corporate and sales communication as well as employer branding and recruiting.
VERBUND has also given its corporate identity a makeover and, in addition to the familiar corporate colour blue, has anchored the claim directly to the brand as a fixed sender. The high-quality images are given more space and the reduced messages are placed front and centre.
The campaign runs from 2 October to 30 November. The 360-degree campaign includes TV adverts, HF adverts, online video, online banners, special advertising formats, print adverts in daily newspapers and magazines, as well as (digital) outdoor advertising throughout Austria. The media mix is rounded off with a social media presence and internal communication channels.

“Through our own power” refers to the renewable power of nature: water, wind and sun. But also the power that lives in us as a society. It also implies the strength that makes us strong as a company, namely in the form of the profound expertise and performance of around 4,000 employees at VERBUND. The campaign is therefore also an important internal message. Since its founding more than 75 years ago, VERBUND has been generating clean energy. And will continue doing so in the future. To this end, we’ll be investing even more in the expansion of generation, networks and storage facilities over the years ahead.
